If we emailed you about a contract
- What we hold: your name, role, work email address and company, and your company's public contract history.
- Where it came from: Find a Tender and Contracts Finder notices, the Companies House register and your company's website.
- Why: to tell your company about public contracts it could bid for, and about our services. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests.
- How long: if you don't reply, we delete your details within six months. If you say "no", we keep only what we need to never contact you again.
- Your right to object: reply "no" to any email, or write to us, and we will stop at once.
If you are a customer
- We use the tender documents and company information you send only to write and improve your bids.
- We keep them for 12 months, or longer if you ask us to keep your answer library.
- We use these services to run TenderBrief: Google and Instantly (email), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (website), Supabase (database) and Anthropic (the AI model that drafts). Some of them process data outside the UK under recognised safeguards.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. If you're unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
